MAKERSPACE

“Makerspaces” are custom-designed community or private workspaces with tools. Makerspaces combine manufacturing equipment, and education for the purposes of enabling community members to design, prototype and create manufactured works that wouldn’t be possible to create with the resources available to individuals working on their own.

Our standard 960 sq ft, four-unit 40’ ISO Shelter System is ideal for an organization searching for a pre- configured “Makerspace.” The ISO Shelter System can serve schools, non-profit corporations, or community organizations that want to provide shared space and tools for individuals to employ or improve new skills.

Each Shelter is already configured to host machine tools and a workshop, invaluable for many developing, urban or rural communities. With a standard GenSet offering 22KW of power, the Shelter System is also ready to run single-phase farm equipment, irrigation wells and pumps, small water treatment systems, or provide emergency power to basic infrastructure in a developing community.
